The Q-BASIS 2024 will be held at the SANKEN (The Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research; ISIR)

“In the JST Mirai Program project ‘Development and Demonstration of Quantum Beam Accelerators Driven by Lasers,’ we will co-host the international conference Q-BASIS 2024 with the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University. This will be a continuation of last spring’s event. More than half of the presentations will be given by renowned researchers from abroad, providing an opportunity to learn about global trends while staying in Japan. We look forward to your participation.

Q-BASIS 2024 (Quantum Beam Application for Sciences and Industries 2024) is a platform where researchers from various fields such as lasers, condensed matter and materials science, chemistry, biology, medical and pharmaceutical sciences, quantum beam science, plasma physics, and more, gather from around the world under the theme of ‘Application and Utilization of Light and Quantum Beams’ to present the latest research findings. It will foster heated discussions covering everything from fundamental principles to practical implementation in society, from diverse perspectives. Through active exchanges of ideas, we aim to share unresolved challenges and unknown possibilities inherent in the ‘Application and Utilization of Light and Quantum Beams,’ propose innovative solutions through collaboration between fundamental physics, engineering, and industry, and create new research fields and business opportunities.
