About the TILA Consortium

By supporting the Division of Research Innovation and Collaboration, members of the TILA Consortium benefit from a variety of tiny integrated laser (TILA) incentives.

Recent progress in solid-state lasers has demonstrated their tremendous advantages for extraordinarily accurate measurement and control of extreme material phases. In view of this, the Division of Research Innovation and Collaboration will offer value chain activity across industry, government, and academia on advanced solid-state lasers for innovations in photonics.

The Consortium is made up of general members, from companies and other organizations, and its secretary member, the Institute for Molecular Science. Members can receive preferential treatment for joint research with the Division of Research Innovation and Collaboration, implement intellectual property owned by the Institute for Molecular Science, and receive data collected by the Division and Consortium. Members can also participate in formulating policies for the Division.
